Sermon February 23, 2014 on the text Matthew 5:38-48.  An "eye for an eye" is a familiar saying we get from this passage, but it stops short of the real meaning.  We are to forgive, turn the other cheek, give, and pray for our enemies.  Hard stuff in this passage.  What does it mean for us.

Which Wolf Do You Feed

Sermon February 2, 2014, on Micah 6:1-8.  We have the image of God in us which imbues us with the ability to love, to sacrifice, to care for one another, but we also have tendencies to hatred, anger, greed, oppression, and selfishness.  The Cherokees refer to these two sides to our nature as two wolves.  Which won wins?  The one you feed.
